We’re a vibrant community dedicated to making Waldo T. Skillin Elementary the best place for our kids to learn, grow, and thrive. Through family events, fundraisers, and enrichment projects, the Skillin School PTA supports our students, celebrates their achievements, and strengthens our school community.

Volunteer Opportunities
Friday, Nov 6 | Popcorn Friday | 9:30-12:30, 1 hour slots | Help us bag and pass out popcorn to all classroom
Monday, Nov 9-Friday, Nov 13 | Scholastic Book Fair | 9:30-2:30, 1 hour slots | Volunteer during the school day or after school at our family shopping nights. Help students find books, restock the shelves, and work the register
Friday, Nov 20 | Family Fun Night | 5:00-8:00, half hour slots | Help us set up, keep the games tidy, coordinate a craft, or clean up
Don’t forget your volunteer training and registration
If you would like to volunteer in the school during the school day or chaperone a field trip, you must complete 2 steps with the school district:
One time: Watch and then take the volunteer training video and quiz
Every year: Complete the Annual Registration Form
