Weekly Skillin Scoop

The best way to stay in the know about important dates, calls-to-action, and other information that impacts our Skillin Skyhawks each week. Please take a moment to read this week’s announcements!

***Join us for Spring Fling Family Fun Night this Friday***
Come to Skillin this **Friday, April 26, 6:00-7:30 PM** and welcome spring with other Skillin families with a night of fun at school.
Activities include a cupcake walk, upcycled birdfeeder craft, outdoor games (with prizes), a book swap, and more!
**We need your help making the Spring Fling fun for everyone!**
**Book Swap:** donate your gently used books so that all students who attend can go home with a book! Drop off your books in the basket outside the front office, or bring them to the Spring Fling
**Volunteers:** Sign up for a quick 45 minute shift to help run a game (inside or outside!), help kids at the craft table, or even host the cupcake walk.

Please note, the Spring Fling is not a drop off event, all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

***Clynk bag pickup is Saturday***

To add your name and address to the March Clynk bag pickup list, **text Joe B at (207) 619-1152 or** message us on Facebook or Instagram and we’ll pick them up this **Saturday, April 27**.

***We need volunteers and donations for Teacher’s Appreciation Week***
**May 6-10** is Teacher Appreciation Week and our teachers and staff are a homerun! We have events planned all week to celebrate our all star teachers and staff.

***We need a little help making it a hit***
**Volunteers:**
Sunday - Come to the playground meetup and “chalk the walk” as a surprise for teachers and staff as they come to work on Monday
Monday - Help set up or clean up the “Concession Stand Lunch”
Wednesday - Help set up or clean up the “Grand Slam Breakfast”

Food & Drink Donations:

Monday - We need beverages for the “Concession Stand Lunch” (seltzer, diet coke, lemonade) dropped off on Monday morning
Thursday - We need breakfast foods (muffins, bagels, donuts, granola bars, pastries) and beverages (juice, iced coffee) dropped off on Thursday for the “Grand Slam Breakfast” on Friday morning
