The No Frills Fundraiser is a direct donation fundraiser, so there’s no pressure to sell items to family, coworkers, and neighbors, or buy things you don’t need. Just simply donate and you’re done.

All money raised through the No Frills Fundraiser will go towards funding field trips and in-school enrichment activities for all grades

Why a No Frills Fundraiser?

We decided to keep our Fall fundraiser simple and easy. It’s a busy time of year and we don’t want to add one more thing to your to do list.

We rely on a combination of donation types to feed our budget. Your donations along with support from our community partners allow us to fill in the gaps in the school budget to provide the field trips and enrichment activities that make the Skillin school experience excellent!

How Much are we Hoping to Raise?

We’re hoping to raise $6,000.  This is the amount that will  cover the costs of field trips for all grades, plus fun in-school enrichment activities (like the Chewonki Traveling Natural History program). 

We encourage Skyhawk families  to donate an amount that you are comfortable with.  If you need a bit of inspiration, consider these amounts…

  • $15 - the money you would have spent on bringing cupcakes to sell at a Bake Sale

  • $25 - the amount you would have spent on wrapping paper 

  • $50 - the amount to join our Skillin Skyhawk Sponsor program

  • $75 - a sign of appreciation for having nothing to buy or sell

Double your Donation with Employer Matching

Many companies will match charitable donations made by their employees. This match can double (or triple) your contribution!

For most employer systems, the easiest way to find the Skillin School PTA is to search for our tax payer ID (EIN 01-0493079).

  • Contact your Human Resources Department and ask about “Matching Funds” for “501(c)(3)” charitable organizations like the Skillin School PTA.

  • Most employers with matching gift programs make it easy for their employees to match donations. Usually it’s a matter of filling out a form or submitting a simple request online. Check with your HR department to see how match requests can be made with you company.

  • Adding the Skillin School PTA (or school) to the list of organizations eligible for corporate match is usually a quick and easy process. You need the following information:
