Come to the First PTA Meeting of the Year!
Join us on Thursday, September 28 from 6:00 to 7:00 in the Skillin Art Room or on Google Meet for our first PTA Meeting of the year.

Open discussion of new ideas
Childcare is provided in the gym during all meetings
Want to Volunteer in the School? Attend the Volunteer Training
Anyone who wants to volunteer in the school or chaperone field trips must attend a Volunteer Training session. Join us on Thursday, September 28 in the Skillin Library at 5:30 for this brief 25 minute session.
You only have to attend this training once (since 2014). If you would like a translator present, email Bryna Latham at lathambr@spsdme.org
We have 2 fun volunteer opportunities coming up!
Picture Day | Tuesday, 10/3 | 1 Hour Slots from 9:00-12:00 - Help manage the line of students waiting for their pictures, assist students with getting camera-ready, help ease nerves of anxious students, and more to help picture day go smoothly so everyone looks their best
Ice Cream Social | Thursday, 10/5 | 1/2 Hour Slots from 4:00-6:30 - Set up, scoop and pass out ice cream at our school community event
Playground helpers needed!
Do you have time to help paint the new blacktop on Saturday, September 30 between 12 and 5? The PTA will provide instruction and painting supplies, we just need extra hands
We are bringing back the map of the USA, adding more Four Square courts and more. The more help we have the more we can do!
Come to the Playground Meetup on Sunday!
It’s our first Playground Meetup of the school year! Join us on the Skillin playground on Sunday, October 1 from 1:00-3:00 for an afternoon of drinks, snacks, music, and fun with the Skillin community
