Skillin Community Forum and Fall Clean Up Day Info
Hello Skillin Families!
We have two exciting community events coming up next week!
The first is a Community Forum at Red Bank Community Center on Tuesday, October 24th from 5:30 - 7:30pm. Superintendent Matheney and other staff will be there to host important conversations about our schools, and we need your feedback and perspective! All members of the Skillin community are welcome - there will be food served starting at 5:30pm and childcare will be provided. Please join us and bring a friend or neighbor! Find more information here.
The 2nd is our Fall Clean Up! Our PTA is looking for volunteers to help out! Please see below for more information. If you have any questions, please email the PTA at skillinschoolpta@gmail.com.
The Fall Clean Up is a day when the Skillin community comes together to take care of our school grounds. Each grade level will spend 30 minutes outside. They will rake, weed, sweep, plant bulbs, and paint garden rocks.
For the day, your child may want:
Clothes that can get dirty
Gardening gloves (if you have them)
There are 2 ways you can help:
Lend us your gardening tools (rakes, brooms, spades, wheelbarrows). Make sure everything is labeled.
Volunteer for as little or as long as you’d like, sign up for a specific activity and specific grade
Have you had a background check this year? If not, please fill out the Volunteer Application
