Remote Day Reminder from Principal Connolly

Hello Skillin families,

Thank you for all of your efforts during our remote learning day on Monday! Please remember to return your student’s learning packet to their classroom teacher. Any additional snow days we have this year will also be remote learning days and students will complete the day’s lessons at home. We will be sending home another learning packet today for students to complete in the event that we have another snow day. Please put them in a safe place until it is time to use them. You will receive a message from Mrs. Connolly when it is time to use them.

In order to be counted as an instructional day, the school department must supply a meal to students. To meet this requirement, food packs will be provided to each student by cafeteria staff. Those packs will also be sent home today for consumption on the next remote learning day (if needed). As with the lessons, you will receive a message to utilize the ‘remote’ food packs for that day.

Please contact the main office or your child's teacher with any questions. Take care!
